DJ.
Ramirezz

Acid JazzHouseDiscoFunkDeep cuts

A DJ for rooms that want taste, movement and a bit of personality without turning the night into a stage show. Good records, proper pacing, clean setup and room-first selection.

01 / The sound

Warm records. Loose edges. No genre whiplash.

The set starts with the room. Acid jazz, house, disco and funk are the centre of gravity, but the point is not genre purity. The point is finding the pocket, keeping the floor comfortable, and knowing when to get stranger.

A / Room-first programming

Familiar enough to land. Different enough to remember.

Warm-up selections, deeper grooves, left-field edits, dancefloor house, older records that still hit, and enough restraint to let a room become a room before trying to peak it.

B / Pacing

Arrival → pocket → lift → late.

A set can have shape without feeling scripted. The room gets somewhere because the music earns it.

C / Live texture

Samples, percussion, odd little moments.

For the right brief, the DJ setup can include live drum/percussion texture and sampler moments rather than just two-deck playback.

02 / What you can book

A proper DJ brief, not a mystery package.

Choose the format that fits. If the event sits between categories, even better. Use the booking desk below and describe the room rather than trying to pick a package name.

01

Bars & restaurants

Long-form sets that can start conversational and grow with the room. Strong fit for patios, late dinners, Sunday sessions and venues that care about atmosphere.

2–5 hour sets
02

Private parties

Birthdays, houses, lofts, cottages and private rooms. Broad enough for mixed groups without slipping into generic function-DJ mode.

Room-first selection
03

Weddings, selectively

For couples who want a real night out more than a wedding-DJ routine. Important songs can be planned without scripting every ten minutes.

No canned MC act
04

Brands & openings

Launches, gallery nights, retail, hospitality and events where the music should support the room rather than swallow it.

Taste before volume
05

Pop-ups & odd ideas

Temporary spaces, unusual venues, mixed-format nights, live additions and ideas that do not fit neatly into a venue package.

Pitch the weird thing
06

Curated playlists

Custom Spotify playlists for venues, dinners, brand environments, pre-event atmosphere or people who simply want the selections without a booth.

03 / Service corridor

Toronto, Montreal and everything in between.

Based in Prince Edward County

The 401 groove line.

Regular travel across the Toronto–Montreal corridor. Put the actual location in the enquiry and travel can be built into the quote. Outside the line is not automatically a no.

04 / In the wild

A few bits from the actual project.

Studio work, gear, posters and the rooms around the sets. Social stays social rather than being turned into a giant embedded feed.

05 / DJ's playlists

Four windows into the record bag.

Not setlists. More like evidence.

These are living Spotify playlists and custom selections. They are useful if you want to hear the range before sending an enquiry, or if you want a custom playlist made for a venue, dinner, brand or event.

Portrait of DJ.Ramirezz

Less hype.
More taste.

DJ.Ramirezz is built around selection rather than spectacle. The centre is acid jazz, house, disco and funk, with enough open-format range to make mixed rooms work. The approach is practical: communicate clearly, turn up ready, understand the venue, read the room, and avoid making the DJ booth the most important person at the event.

Based in Prince Edward County and servicing Toronto, Montreal and the corridor between them.

08 / Before you ask

Useful things.

Yes, intelligently. Useful requests can improve a set. The booth just does not become a touchscreen jukebox.
Yes. That can be part of an event brief or a standalone curation project for a venue, dinner, brand, shop, house or recurring environment.
Usually. Send the venue name or equipment list and the technical side can be checked ahead of time.
Yes. Toronto, Montreal and the corridor between them are the main service area. Other locations can still be discussed.
Absolutely. Broad does not have to mean random. The aim is range with a through-line.
Please. Pop-ups, live additions, weird spaces, afternoon sessions, unusual briefs and mixed-format ideas are often the interesting ones.
